Though he’s now burly and rustic, Zakk Wylde was more on the pretty boy side when he joined up with Ozzy Osbourne. This Morley ad is from early on in that relationship, following the gigantic No More Tears.

Pulled from Guitar School, September 1992.

From the Rooney Archive.

When this ad ran in Guitar for the Practicing Musician, May 1993, the snakeskin boots certainly could’ve been aimed at metal or country guitarists. The generic ad for their pedals addresses both, along with jazz and blues players.

"Notes cascading and falling through time and space without beginning or end."

The old Morley pedals were real boat anchors. The Morley EVO-1 Echo seems to be no exception. Scanned from the veritable goldmine of Guitar Player, January 1977.
