Rick Neilsen’s guitars (and much more) on display

“Rick’s Picks” is an exhibit of Rick Neilsen’s guitars and music-related items housed in the Rockford, Ill. Burpee Museum of Natural History. The 5,000 square foot installation is a tribute to the Cheap Trick founder’s famous collection. Online Milwaukee is running a feature on the display. As they describe it:

Nielsen’s collection of guitars numbers around 400 and there are 72 of his favorites …including the 1963 Fender Telecaster B-Bender that Nielsen gave to John Lennon during the recording of the “Double Fantasy” album in 1980 … in the exhibit.
