D.C. legends The Dismemberment Plan have reunited for a pair of shows this month and Paste caught up with the band’s guitarist Travis Morrison. He commented on preparation for the sets, computer programming, and revisiting old material:
I feel pretty lucky that our songs, for the most part, don’t sound totally absurd from a 39-year-old’s mouth. (I)t’s really a relief to go back to the songs and say, “Yeah. These emotions are not particularly trapped in youth.” I guess I was kind of a little old man back then, and now I’ve caught up to it.
