Double-teaming guitar thieves may be prowling the plains. According to the Kansas City Star‘s website, an Olathe, Kan. music retailer was recently targeted by crooks:
(T)wo men entered the store and as one man distracted the salesperson, the other grabbed a guitar and then shoved it down his pants. The two men then left the store. Police said they have received information that the two men might be involved in similar thefts throughout the Midwest.
The approach is inventive at least, I suppose.
