AD: Gretsch TK-300

"... bringing Gretsch quality to rock music."

Here’s the first of a series of ads pulled from Guitar Player, June 1978. The Gretsch TK-300 was apparently aimed at what the company perceived (probably correctly so) to be rock guitarists too poor to afford a Country Club or other pricey model—”a real workhorse at a modest price.” And hey, there’s a ’79 model on eBay (ending within the hour—hurry!) going for only $399. The body is fairly cool, but that hockey stick headstock … uggh.
