Vic Flick has worked with the likes of Paul McCartney, Tom Jones, and Petula Clark, but the English guitarist’s most famous contribution to popular culture is likely his playing on the “James Bond Theme.” Now Flick is set to sell the guitar on which he played the legendary riff, a Clifford Essex Paragon De Luxe. He told blogcritics.org that the guitar was a studio workhorse:
(I)t was always in the trunk of my car along with a 12-string guitar, Spanish guitar, banjo and an amplifier. I definitely used it on Dr. No, From Russia With Love, and Goldfinger.
