A third person description of this blog’s owner, but really just written by himself.

Pointy Guitar is the domain/hobby/vice of Troy Van Horn. He began obsessing over guitar in some other century—likely the 20th—and has yet to stop. In addition to Pointy, Troy’s music ravings can be found at Hardened Magazine and elsewhere on the web. He can be heard playing guitar around Kansas City, Mo. and beyond. As of this writing, Van Horn is listening to Savage Amusement by the Scorpions, a very questionable choice indeed.
