Finally, something that makes good sense out of the Gibson custom shop. Guitar News Daily is reporting that Gibson is reporting (I can’t seem to find the exact page, how sloppy and incomplete of me) the upcoming release of a Randy Rhoads model Les Paul:
Randy Rhoads’ 1974 Les Paul Custom has been one of the most requested re-issues ever. Now the Gibson Custom Shop is pleased to announce (that) this legendary axe will soon be available in stores.
In light of the Sammy Hagar Red Rocker Les Paul and other iffy Gibsons, this is good news.
